Arthur Naseef is a committer on the Apache ActiveMQ project and is currently self employed as a Consultant working with companies to develop and support scalable solutions using the Apache ecosystem, including ActiveMQ and Camel. After graduating college with a degree in computer science, he started a professional career with Unix and C development, which lead into Linux kernel development.

Java development and involvement with the Apache ecosystem ramped up quickly in 2010 working on a project to bring ActiveMQ in-house for the first time to Ticketmaster. Working through bugs detected during that effort lead to submission of patches and eventually an offer to join ActiveMQ as a committer.

Arthur's involvement in OpenSource projects include primarily ActiveMQ, and related github projects.

This will be Arthur's first public speaking experience.
